I have encountered an unusual (at least for me) problem.
The only platform that I own that does not run Debian, is my new
64-bit HP laptop. I had VirtualBox installed on my old 64-bit laptop.
I just downloaded VirtualBox-5.2.20-125813-Win.exe and installed it on
my new HP Laptop without any warning or error messages. When I ran
VirtualBox to install the 64-bit Debian Stretch iso the installer only
showed 32-bit Linux applications.
What is going on here?
Thanks in advance.

Hello,
Maybe you need to turn ON virtualization from the BIOS/UEFI menu ?
Thanks.
