It's for problems which you can solve by representing everything as homogeneous coordinates and then computing the result by one giant matrix multiplication. (wc helps a lot to construct proper hollerith constants. To be typical all characters would have to be capital letters or digits encoded in EBCDIC.) Have a nice day :) Thomas
