It seems that Linux 5.x makes the display corrupted as it goes to the X server. Plymouth is not affected, though. Even after activating the X server using startx, the display glitch won't go away. The exact same thing happened with the updated Linux 5.6.0-2 PAE version. Here are the pictures:
