I'm interested in trying out z-wave, and I'd like to start with a simple command line utility so I can experiment with a switch, and control it through cron.
I'm aware of Home Assistant, which is likely to be the direction I go in the long term. I'd prefer not to try to set it up just to try out a switch! Any recommendations would be welcome.
