Hi Curt, Yeah, unfortunately I don't think they provide download hashes.

Yes, the client would be what actually performs the folding itself. I would also recommend downloading "fahcontrol" as well, as this allows more advanced control of the client than the web interface does. "fahviewer" is optional, it just provides a graphical visualization of the protein you're currently folding. -Alexis
