The either is available in the Debian Repositories as Basket and cherrytree. Unfortunately, Basket requires very many KDE packages to be co-installed, while I still use LXDE. AT the first glance, Basket perhaps won't serve the purpose. cherrytree, the hierarchical note-taking application, is installed and will be checked.
