See, this is why we ask people to include their SHELL PROMPT along with the command they type. The shell prompt would most likely contain a "$" character or a "#" character, which would tell us who you were when you ran this command. I'm betting you ran this as root, and this is why you can't see the contents underneath /run/user/1000. Only user 1000 can see that.
