It's missing out on yet another major way: Umlaute. The Umlaute take whole keys for themselves like other letters, and since there aren't any more keys on the keyboard, they replace other characters which contributes to the German keyboard layout being rather awkward and difficult to use. Whoever created it has completely overlooked that computers aren't typewriters. And it's very bad not to have a right Alt key.
