It's quite difficult because many of the people who answer questions here really don't care about your question, they only care about their answer. So, for instance, if you ask a question about Kmail or a desktop environment, they will begin by saying they don't use or know about Kmail or any desktop environment. And then they will launch into an "answer" that actually isn't an answer at all. This is the tribute we pay to the ideology behind the open source movement. At any rate, in my opinion your questions are not narrowly focused enough.
