bridge interface randomly dropping

I have a box that I use to run virt-manager, and for virtual networking 
I do all that manually, creating a bridge interface to put the real 
interface and VM interfaces behind.

Works great, except at random, the br0 interface goes down and does not 
recover without an ifdown/ifup.

I'm not sure how to troubleshoot this one. I have a cron to detect it 
and fix it, but it shouldn't happen. Any ideas?
