hmm, i thought recent versions with better encryption are ok? are there issues i've not heard about? perhaps, but i don't know. i actually don't know if they offer anything different and i've never asked assuming they don't. i guess a good point to consider is that i should ask so i will try that tomorrow and see what they reply... however, i don't really want to use rsync - i think it's a lot more complicated than i'd like and i'm not sure it would be available anyways? beyond that any answer about the git part? songbird
