I just installed debian 13.3 from scratch on to a machine, using the official DVD, with KDE as the desktop.

When I log in, I find that the networking is not up. I can force it to start by clicking the "Networks" icon in the system tray, and then clicking "Connect". But the next time I boot the machine, I have to log in and do the same again.

How do I force networking to start automatically at boot time (i.e., before I log in)? I don't see anything in System Settings that I can set to do this.
