I downloaded the latest Trixie installation ISO, burned it to a DVD, booted it, got about a third of the way through the installation dialogue, and ran into the following snag: on the partition screen, I selected guided partitioning— the top most option. When I did that, I’ve got a dialogue that wants to create a new partition table. The problem is, I want to install a side-by-side configuration with an existing Windows 10 implementation. How do I do that without blowing away the Windows partition? Thanks in advance. You need to look at the manual selection for partitioning. This puts you in control of every aspect, no assumptions made. Good luck, Bob |
