installing xdg-desktop-portal (1.21.0+ds-1), currently in experimental,
seems to result in severe errors regarding storing passwords in the
wallet (kde wallet), esp. the signal passphrase used to decipher
messages through sql.
taking care of the passphrase under 'chromium keys'/password/'Chromium
Safe Storage' (before updating) is highly suggested (it even happended
one time the password got completely changed when this version of
xdg-desktop-portal is installed). Signal is unuseable after the update
or needs to be fully reinstalled, loosing all former exisiting messages.
reverting back to a former version of xdg-desktop-portal & taking care
of the passphrase in the wallet (is it there / the same as before?)
resulted at least 2 times in a successfully starting Signal again.
