Neglected to emphasize that the printer is connected and working with other OS instances, Debian 12 and Win 7 via ethernet. The USB was a last gasp attempt at getting it to work on a fresh install of Trixie. I can access the printer GUI by IP:PORT from Firefox. My network is relevant in that it verifies that the problem is the Trixie install. Reg
