I meant "I never had reason to search for a single letter." It works for a while for a single letter, or short strings, and even sometimes for an entire word, but eventually gets lost. If the search item is on the same page as one previously found, it still shows the correct page. Otherwise, I can frequently find the search item within the next three or four pages, but usually not on the one displayed after the search.
