It was stopping part ways through large print jobs to spend a couple more minutes cleaning. After only the cleaning I noticed the ink levels consistently dropping from 'full' to '80%'.

I am not strictly differentiating inkjet vs toner as I have owned inkjet printers I genuinely liked. The time I went to Walmart and bought the cheapest one I could find... I won't do that again. A while back one of my friends claimed he opened a used Brother toner cartridge and it contained a secondary chamber nearly full of toner.
