The Purism kernel folks say, I should start with cloning from the above
repository. So I did. And this will later pull the kernel sources from
kernel.org.

Is there some documentation how to start the building proc after the git
clone?

Please note, I never touched Debian kernel work. I'm mostly working on
FreeBSD.
