So you'll need to try and figure out what "localhost" means from your Debian system. Assuming it means "the Android system" then I'd assume that this fails because of Android firewalling incoming connections. I'm not familiar with Android' firewall, and you might be better off asking about it in an Android newsgroup (maybe one dedicated to running GNU/Linux distributions inside Android?). === Stefan
