Related and off-topic, you should open an OpenSRS account and become a
reseller. You will be the registrar, and you can basically buy
domains at cost. No need to pay the premiums to hosting providers to
register and renew domains.

Becoming a reseller does not cost much. You pay a one-time fee, if I
recall correctly. It cost me about $100 USD about 15 years ago. I
got a full return on investment once I renewed 3 or 4 domains since
each renewal saved me about $25.

As the registrar, you also control the EPC codes (or EPP code or Auth
Codes). You can generate them at will. No need to depend on others
to transfer or sell a domain. And you can do the other things, like
add privacy and block transfer.
