You want to set the locale, am I understanding correct? If you're trying to set a French locale, try:

sudo update-locale LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8

Then log out and SSH back in

Then you need to set keyboard? I don't know so well how to do that. I asked ai and it gave me instructions how to do that. I didn't copy those here because I don't know if they are correct.

 When you ask your next question, write it in your language and have ai translate to English, just like you just did. That is easier for us to read.
