Hi, Now that Debian 12 has entered LTS and I would like to know if the BIND package that comes with the Debian repository is supported in LTS? Will it receive security updates? Because ISC has made 9.18 as EOL.
I see in Debian 12.15, the latest BIND package version is "BIND 9.18.49-1~deb12u1-Debian (Extended Support Version)" My system OS version is 12.15 and I have the following BIND packages: bind9-dnsutils/oldstable,oldstable-security,now 1:9.18.49-1~deb12u1 amd64 [installed,automatic] bind9-host/oldstable,oldstable-security,now 1:9.18.49-1~deb12u1 amd64 [installed,automatic] bind9-libs/oldstable,oldstable-security,now 1:9.18.49-1~deb12u1 amd64 [installed,automatic] bind9-utils/oldstable,oldstable-security,now 1:9.18.49-1~deb12u1 amd64 [installed,automatic] bind9/oldstable,oldstable-security,now 1:9.18.49-1~deb12u1 amd64 [installed] I did run the check-support-status program and it did not return any output.
