No, it is not stolen, it was purchased on komplett.no in July 2022 and has been in my ownership the whole time. I could even provide a receit (or at least a credit card printput with the approximate date). As the link in the orignal post describes, the machine is not a dual boot. I let the debian installer back in 2022 do its thing and take over the machine, i.e. scrub the windows installation. And at that point in time there was no BIOS password, because I did not set one. Also at the point where I thought I had lost the touchpad I was into the BIOS and there was no password on the BIOS. August 2024, this was: https://lists.debian.org/debian-user/2024/08/msg00461.html (turns out F7 toggles the touchpad on and off) But on July 2026 there suddenly was a password on the BIOS and not one set by me.
