So perhaps the issue is fixed in release 1.4.41 (or .40) then. As you can see, in Debian 13 it's based on release 1.4.39. The package version in sid/unstable is 1.4.43 so at least there is a Debian package with the fix. That might make it easier for a maintainer to backport the fix, or for someone to backport the entire Remmina package into trixie-backp[orts.
