Well, Bret, I certainly enjoyed your history. I didn't even want a computer 
until 1994, but once I got on CompuServe, I was hooked. `Quite few bad 
acters-and-having libraries next to forums of an area was so convenient. I had
to leave CIS in late 97 when they switched to a graphical interface. Not only 
were their separate groups of folks on CIS from the Internet, likewise many 
music files-and-discussions exclusive on CIS. Our Amazon device says Compuserve 
began on September 24, 1979, but last I asked or checked, there seems no 
lasting archive.
