I am also running Debian 13 (13.7) and just installed Stellarium. Very
basic, no extras, no additional catalogs, etc.
I am running Cinnamon desktop, which is based on Gnome.
I see no issues with the display.
Can you be more specific about your environment, extras you may have
installed, etc.?
