Example using a multilingual radio station: I use Goodvibes and Shortwave, and add the stream URL I find on https://www.radio-browser.info/ or on the station’s website. For example, this TuneIn page for ICI Radio-Canada Première in Montreal gives me the following information:
ICI Radio-Canada Première Montréal URL: https://rcavliveaudio.akamaized.net/hls/live/2006635/P-2QMTL0_MTL/playlist.m3u8 Homepage: https://ici.radio-canada.ca/premiere Favicon: https://ici.radio-canada.ca/favicon.ico Tags: news, talk Country code: CA Country: Canada Region: Quebec Coordinates: 45.5201863454914 / -73.54923963546754 Stream change history: Change time: 1/14/2026, 10:54:03 PM The stream URL is the line ending in ".m3u8", ".aac", ".mp3", or ".flac". Sometimes a radio station doesn’t provide access to its stream this way, or it isn’t listed.
