> HP Compaq dc7900 Small Form Factor Desktop > Intel Core2 Duo CPU E8400 @ 3.0GHz > 4MB DDR2 RAM I have this very CPU in 1 HP and 3 Dells, with IIRC, 2GB ram in one, 4GB ram in two, and 8GB ram in one. 3 of the 4 have Bookworm, Trixie and Forky installed (as well as multiple other distros), and TDE* running with no issues on all. Three have Radeon dGPUs installed. The other uses the Intel iGPU with DisplayPort and VGA to run 2560x1440 and 1680x1050 displays. For DOS apps I use OS/2 on a self-built desktop with E6400 CPU and 2GB RAM, as my key apps run in ATI's proprietary 800x600 resolution SVGA text mode that I've never found out how to make work in Linux. e.g.: WordPerfect 6.2 for DOS (though not used in a long time, finding a plain text editor in Linux adequate to my limited needs), and the key app, always open, Quattro Pro 5.6 for DOS, run through Paradox 4 for DOS. * <https://wiki.trinitydesktop.org/Debian_Trinity_Repository_Installation_Instructions> -- Evolution as taught in public schools is, like religion, based on faith, not based on science.
