Yes. Unfortunately, the syntax changed between 0.9 and 1.0pre. I use the command: mencoder "mf://*.jpg" -mf fps=25 -o ../output/$dt.avi -ovc lavc to turn motion-detect time-lapse pics from my security camera into movies.
