OK. But it's definitely "radeon" in 4.3.0. And these entries from the
XFree86.0.log:

don't correspond with the 7500, according to the 4.3.0 "radeon"
driver, which gives for the 7500:
ATI Radeon 7500 QW (AGP), ATI Radeon 7500 QX (AGP)
