When I run pppd, I get:

        ~ ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) <ttyp3> # pppd
Sorry - PPP driver version 0.0.0 is out of date

What does this error message mean? (Yes, I have read the documentation --
but I could have missed something.)

I have ppp-2.2-1 installed, kernel is 1.2.13, bootup messages:
Feb 3 17:01:53 firefly kernel: PPP: version 0.2.7 (4 channels)
NEW_TTY_DRIVERS OPTIMIZE_FLAGS
Feb 3 17:01:53 firefly kernel: TCP compression code copyright 1989
Regents of the University of California
Feb 3 17:01:53 firefly kernel: PPP line discipline registered.

/etc/ppp/options:
        /dev/ttyS1
        115200
        debug
        kdebug 1
        crtscts
        modem
        connect /etc/ppp/ppp-connect
        name <assigned pseudo-name>
        netmask 255.255.255.0
        <local IP>:<remote IP>
        defaultroute
        proxyarp

If there is any other information that could help figure out what I am
doing wrong, don't hesitate to ask for it.

Thanks,
David
