Note that anyone using Gmail will have the e-mail composition making
suggestions to fix missing words, fixing singular/plural noun/verb
agreement, "cutting fluff" (removing extra words that aren't
necessary, changing passive to active voice, etc.) --- basically, the
sort of thing that a human copywriter might do.
All you have to do is to "right click" to accept the suggested edit,
so it's super easy --- and it involves using LLM assistence.
(BTW, I'm absolutely fascinated with arguments that suggestions to cut
fluff from your text, or rewording your text from active to passive
text, would somehow be a copyright licensing violations.)
It seems weird to say that this would be a Code of Conduct violation
that could resuult in a Debian Developer disciplinary action, up to
and getting expelled from the project.
As a result, I plan to vote against Proposal C, and I would urge all
voters to do the same.
