This option leaves open the question of whether (for example) a
maintainer must engage with LLM generated submissions.
For example, the src:dgit maitnainers regard LLM output as memetic
pollution, and do not want to read it. We do not want to review
LLM-generated code submissions, nor do we want to read LLM-generated
bug reports.
If someone were to file an LLM-generated bug report, or MR, or
something, we would probably close it, stating this (package-specific)
policy.
Perhaps such decisions are within the wide margin of appreciation we
already afford to maintainers. We allow maintainers to conduct active
sabotage of competing software, so why wouldn't we allow them to
decline certain classes of interaction.
Nevertheless I think you should consider saying something explicit
about this question; I am sure that there are many other people with
similar views in Debian.
