Just a note, since this intersects very much with my day job: there is no need to believe everything said by companies looking for investors. There is no need to worry too much about these implausible announcements because probably most of these huge data centers will never exist, or else begin and end much smaller. A common scenario is to design a data center, possibly obtain the permissions and arrange for energy delivery and THEN find the stupid investors who will pay for everything. But at this point in the AI bubble cycle we are starting to see a crunch even in the supply of stupid investors. -- ciao, Marco
