It's keeping within the stated focus and purpose of Debian-Women. If you want to post profiles of men involved in Debian, go make your own group. > Applicants to Systers must include a short essay which (amongst > others) asserts that they are female. Debian-Women is about supporting women who wish to become involved with the Debian Project. Your largely bogus complaints have been repeatedly addressed and refuted. Continuing to complain does not change that. I do not apologize for wishing to support women in Debian, and no one else should either. Let's not get distracted from our main mission here, friends. This happens every single time any women's group starts up- we get attacked by people crying "sexism!" Ignore them. We know why we are here, and what we stand for. There is nothing to apologize for, and we don't need to knuckle under to pressure from folks who just hate the idea of our existence. That in itself demonstrates why Debian-Women is needed. -- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Carla Schroder this message brought to you by Libranet 2.8 and Kmail ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
