Do browsers support `switching off' displaying CSS? That is my main concern actually, that we would perhaps be spending a lot of effort on the design, and that we would never be able to provide satisfactory design for a group of users. Debian's site isn't a typical mainstream site most of the visitors of which mainly use the latest Internet Explorer beta and who all have Flash and MS Office fonts installed[1]... IME our audience is quite diverse WRT OSes and browsers, which makes this team's job more troublesome.
