I cannot reproduce this behavior here, xev displays events for the c key when Super-L is hold down. Can you please run $ xkbcomp :0 and send the generated server-0.xkb file? It will explain why your keymap is broken, and will help debugging to see if xlibs is buggy or if we have to find another culprit. Denis
