The basic rule I took was to remove conditions with non-existent
packages, or
from oldstable. As we only support upgrades from the latest stable version,
it should be fine.
I think I was overcareful, but I would like a second pair of eyes over
my
changes. There are some other monsters that I would like to kill, but I left
them for a second round: }:->
