Yes, the problem is very easy to reproduce.
It only occur later, when I start the game.
I tried within EXA, but with the same result.
And yes, with the unstable packages, I haven't this problem. Only with the
experimental.

Is the problem easy to reproduce? Does the freeze occur at X startup or
later when starting 3D apps?
When did the problem first occur? Did you ever run earlier versions of
xserver-xorg-video-radeon? Can you try the last one that I uploaded to
experimental this morning (git20081129)? If there was no such problem
earlier, we need to know which commit introduced the problem.
