It does... but it seems to get quite complex. The problem is that an
occasional spammer is smart, and other spammers follow their lead (such as
the " -qerrs" type stuff found in the Subject: headers). So a huge
amount of (continually evolving) work has to go into the project to make
sure that it is difficult for spammers to bypass.
