We're going to have to wait and see.

Unfortunately, this is a major architectural change for IMail (especially 
for a HotFix!).  Even worse, it seems like they do not have a good reason 
for doing it (their SMTPD process wasn't generating unique filenames for 
the spool; they could have simply made the filenames unique rather than 
making them longer).  Preliminary tests didn't show any serious issues 
(just log file entries that only used 8 characters), and we haven't heard 
of any problems yet with people using 7.06 HF1.
