I have noticed for two days in a row that when freshclam runs it errors out and deletes the daily folder. After that I get constant synchronization errors. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

The C:\Temp folder fills up with left over vir files. We also have synch problems for updates. We took it out of production today, since it was keeping dual xeon CPU's continuously at 100% and we didn't have time to drop everything to trouble-shoot it. Any input is appreciated.
