>I received an empty email that failed the badheaders test due to no FROM >address. It came from the Imail list. Did you see the same?
No, but I have seen several blank E-mails come from the IMail list before. >Just thought I would ask, because we are running 135a and I haven't seen >an empty message like this from the Imail forum before - no subject, no >from, no to and no text.. That's exactly what we've seen before, too. >The headers are below: >Received: from list.ipswitch.com [156.21.1.21] by hm-software.com with ESMTP >(SMTPD32-7.05) id A2883600BC; Wed, 30 Jan 2002 18:32:24 -0500 >X-Declude-Note: This E-mail was sent from a broken mail client [8c200000]. >See: http://www.declude.com/tools/header.php?code=8c200000 ... This shows that IMail received a completely blank E-mail before Declude saw it (the Received: header is added by the SMTP Daemon that receives the E-mail before Declude gets it). >01:30 18:32 SMTPD(003600BC) [63.107.174.78] connect 156.21.1.21 port 2779 >01:30 18:32 SMTPD(003600BC) [156.21.1.21] EHLO list.ipswitch.com >01:30 18:32 SMTPD(003600BC) [156.21.1.21] MAIL >FROM:<[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >01:30 18:32 SMTPD(003600BC) [156.21.1.21] RCPT >To:<[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >01:30 18:32 SMTPD(003600BC) [156.21.1.21] D:\IMAIL\spool\D82880bc.SMD 143 And this confirms it. The "143" is the number of bytes in the E-mail, and without actually counting, I'm guessing there are 143 bytes in that one Received: header (OK, I'm lazy!). All signs point to a problem on their end. -Scott --- [This E-mail was scanned for viruses by Declude Virus (http://www.declude.com)] --- This E-mail came from the Declude.JunkMail mailing list.
