The Sortmonster Sniffer system takes this into account by limiting the inbound traffic through the existing filters. That way, the only messages that come into our system to be processed are those that are not yet coded into our filter mechanisms... In theory, as we grow our subscriber base and our footprint our filter's effectiveness will grow with the volume of spam reported from subscribers.
I agree with you. If the FTC is running wide open (which we can assume from the article) then they will need some serious pre-processing power to handle the onslaught. _M | -----Original Message----- | From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] | [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of Charles Frolick | Sent: Friday, February 01, 2002 10:28 AM | To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] | Subject: RE: [Declude.JunkMail] Sniffer | | | This is the last paragraph of the article. | | >Consumers can report spam to the FTC by forwarding it to | >uce+ftc.gov.
