Here's the real problem:

>DATE: Sun, Mar 03 2002 17:31:52 -0800

Microsoft has apparently invented their own E-mail system intended to
replace SMTP. Their system seems to use a Date: header that is similar to
the one used by SMTP, but slightly different. An SMTP E-mail would have a
header "Date: Sun, 3 Mar 2002 ...".

I wonder how Microsoft Outlook would handle that broken header (would it
move the E-mail to the top of the inbox, guess what date was intended,
delete it, or just crash)?
