It sounds like there may be a problem with your DNS server. You should go
to the IMail SMTP settings, and check the "Domain Name Server address"
entry, to make sure that the DNS server(s) are listed properly (if there is
more than one, they should be separated by a space, and both should be
working DNS servers).
