The IP address that you enter (with the ALLOWIP option) will allow that IP
address to send unlimited E-mail. For example, if you have a webserver at
192.168.112.14 that sends a lot of E-mail, and you don't care how much it
sends, you could use "ALLOWIP 192.168.112.14". A spammer will not be able
to come from 192.168.112.14 (unless he breaks into the server, in which
case you have a serious security problem, or he forges his IP, which is
nearly impossible for a spammer to do).
On the other hand, if you want [EMAIL PROTECTED] to send unlimited E-mail,
that will also allow a spammer to send unlimited E-mail simply by placing
"[EMAIL PROTECTED]" as the return address.
The key is that the spammer won't forge the IP, but they can easily forge
the IP address.
