So are you inferring that either Imail or the client's Exchange Server
inserted that DATE header on the bottom?

The easiest way is to look at the headers that are sent to IMail:

>From: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
>To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
>X-Loop: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
>Subject: SPAM: [See Headers]  Delivery failure

 From this, you can see that it is missing the Date: header.
