That is correct. This is a "test definition", which lets Declude know what
the "BADHEADERS" test is. In this case, it is a test type "badheaders",
with a weight of 8 (and a "negative weight" of 0, something that is rarely
ever used).

> x x are place holders?

Correct. For some test types, they have special meaning, but the
"badheaders" test type doesn't use them.

> 8 is the weight assigne

Correct -- 8 is the weight that would be assigned for an E-mail that fails
this test.

> And 0 is what?

0 is the "negative weight" -- meaning that if an E-mail *passes* this test,
a weight of 0 will be added. I'm not aware of anyone using this, so you
will usually always see 0 there.

That is correct -- that would define a "weight" test named WEIGHT50, which
gets triggered when the E-mail has a weight of 50 or higher.

The global.cfg file is used for two separate things:

[1] Global configuration information (which includes the test definitions), and
[2] The actions to use on outgoing E-mail (which look like the
\IMail\Declude\$default$.JunkMail file entries).

Correct.

>What is the Weight Rang About? Anything that falls in there and not

>WEIGHTRANGE10-14 HOLD

A test named "WEIGHTRANGE10-14" (assuming that it was defined as
"WEIGHTRANGE10-14 weightrange x x 10 14" in the global.cfg file) would get
triggered on any E-mail with a weight between 10 and 14 (inclusive). If an
E-mail has a weight of less than 10, or greater than 14, it would not
trigger the test.
