I set up a email called spam as you suggested.
And change the to: fields in the Emails to go there.
That seems that is working fine.

Some one else suggested to make everything log.  But
what do I use to review this files?

I'm also not really sure what all the definitions mean on the $default$ file and how they work in this whole process. Is there a reference guide
or resource page some where.

Subject: RE: [Declude.JunkMail] DSN:Newb Junkmail $default$ file question

I'm also a newbie with JunkMail as I've only been using it for a week. What I did was setup an email account called "spam" and I set a couple of tests, BADHEADERS & ORDB, to route any emails it caught to that mail account. I can then review the mail to see if any legitimate emails was caught and to see how well things are working. As I see that legit mail is getting through and only the spam junk is caught I can then change the settings to bounce or whatever. Over time I'll add other tests and just watch how it goes.

Subject: [Declude.JunkMail] DSN:Newb Junkmail $default$ file question

Newb here:

Don't laugh: I'm a tobacco farmer from SC: have 450 website customers, and a small data center with 12 cf servers and Imail:  Got this declude software stuff. and I'm trying to figure it out. I need some help.

My question is about the $default$  file for JUNK mail - virus questions will come later.

I see most of the default setting are set to "warn" before I go changing all these settings, because I may not know the short term impact to my mail server. What should I change right away? And what would you experts set them too.

If you would like to send me and example that would be really helpful.
Here is what I have:      What should dI change or add?
